Of Toowoomba, formerly of Chinchilla, passed away peacefully on Tuesday 18 April 2023, aged 77 years.

Beloved Husband of Rita (dec’d). Much loved Father of Leigh (dec’d) and Geoffrey.

Loved Son of Oscar & Olive Dent (both dec’d). Loved Brother & Brother-in-law of Bill & Barbara Dent (both dec’d), and Mary & Ted (dec’d) Smith. Much loved Uncle to the extended family.

Special friend of Jack’s Service Clubs: St Vincent de Paul Society; Riding for the Disabled; Toowoomba Hospice; Community Policing; Qld State Rose Garden; SPRED; Neighbourhood Watch; and Men of League.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass for Jack to be held at Holy Name Catholic Church, service commencing at 11:00am Friday 5 May 2023, followed by interment at the Toowoomba Garden of Remembrance.
