Casket and Coffins
Choosing a Coffin or Casket is difficult, but it is a very important and personal decision.
We understand that your choice of coffin or casket may depend on many considerations such as:
- The preferences of the person who has died
- The shape, design and colour of the coffin or casket
- Is the funeral a burial or a cremation?
- Financial means
- Environmental views of the person who has died.
We offer a wide range of coffins and caskets and encourage you to take time to make a choice that best suits your family’s needs.
In our Display Room located in Toowoomba, you can view a range of coffins and caskets or you may prefer to make a selection from our catalogue. Caskets and coffins vary from the elaborate to the simple, with many choices available in solid timber, metal, particle board, custom wood and cardboard.
To personalise the coffin yourself, you may consider painting, decoupage, colourful stickers or decorations. Or you may invite friends and family to sign and write messages on the coffin either before or during the service.

We have many coffins for you to choose from, in a variety of styles and price ranges.
Coffins and Caskets come in a variety of materials, Solid Timbers, MDF or Particle board, Cardboard and Specialty painted and Expressions printed ranges.
The coffin you choose can be as individual as the person’s personality and can help to express what was important to them in their life. Illustrated is a selection from our coffin and casket ranges however we also have many others to choose from. Also, if you have something special in mind that we do not usually stock, we can generally supply it from our network of coffin suppliers.

Flowers
Flowers can be an amazing expression of our personalities. Traditionally a large floral arrangement is placed on top of the coffin or casket. We can arrange the flowers for you, or you may choose to consult a florist yourself and arrange your own casket sprays. Another lovely way for guests to say goodbye is to place a single bloom or petals onto the coffin.

Traditional Hearses
Our fleet of modern white hearses is designed to reflect a fresh modern professional approach whilst maintaining the solemnity of the occasion.
Horse Drawn Hearse
The Heritage Vintage Horse Drawn Hearse is a beautiful piece of Australian History. The remnants were located on a farm at Hirstglen in 1981 and have been fully restored. Originally used in the Gatton area prior to 1900, it is considered to be of a type manufactured around 1864. It was operated by Gatton funeral director Mr Ernest Lowe.
Still is in use today, it is a special way to convey the person who has died to the funeral – especially for those with a love of horses, Australian history, rural life or vintage vehicles. What a beautiful way to create a meaningful funeral for both you and your loved one. (extra costs apply).
Motorbike Hearse
The Heritage custom built Motorbike Hearse is available at no extra charge for those who love motorbikes either now, in days gone by, or perhaps those just wanting something a little different – a final, special journey and memory.
It can also be taken to country areas at a small extra charge.
