After a year of Covid restrictions and the prevalence of online learning, we are delighted to once again bring people together and be able to host a FREE Grief Education Seminar titled” Good Grief” with renowned author and trainer, Doris Zagdanski.
Many people in our community are grieving over the death of a loved one. And Covid-19 has also taught us that grief can enter our lives in many ways through the loss of certainty, control and expectation of continuing life as it used to be.
This seminar takes a contemporary look at grief – when we understand how grief works and when we practice “Good Grief” principles, we get better mental health outcomes for all concerned.
We will talk about…
- How to help a grieving client/friend
- Am I normal, What to expect when you or someone else is grieving
- Helpful ideas for practising “Good Grief’
- Unhelpful beliefs about grief
Anyone interested is invited to attend however numbers are limited so please RSVP with your name, phone number, organisation if relevant, to info@ahfunerals.com.au by 22nd August 2021.
