“Remembering your child is like a flower to a garden, let the memory linger in your heart.”

The Babies Rock of Remembrance Service is a special time for families whose babies have died in early pregnancy, held at the Garden of Remembrance. The next service will be on Friday 31 October 2020 at 2.00 pm.

This special time is created for grieving parents, their families and friends to gather and honour their baby’s precious life. It is a time to be surrounded and supported by members of the community.

During the service, parents are welcomed and encouraged to share in the placement of the Ashes at the base of the Rock.

Parents, families and friends are also welcomed to participate by using other symbols provided such as Candles, Water and Flowers.

The meaningful recognition of a tiny life unable to be developed to maturity is celebrated as a part of the fabric and meaning of our lives. Even though your baby has died during early pregnancy, it is important to understand the place your baby will always have in your life.

Services are held on the Last Friday in February, June, and October, commencing at 2.00 pm at the Rock of Remembrance, situated in the Garden of Remembrance Cemetery, 1001 Ruthven St, Toowoomba.
